About Gateway

Gateway Property Holdings, Inc. (GPHI) is a Philippine corporation established in 1990 for the primary purpose of developing an industrial estate for high technology companies like those in the electronics and semiconductor industries, among others. GPHI is also focused on environment preservation and promoting harmony in the Park.

GPHI is the developer of Gateway Business Park (GBP) located 800 feet above sea level in a 180-hectare Cavite property. The Park houses world-renowned multinational companies which benefit from a supply of constant potable water and the largest waste water treatment plant for industrial estates. It has the capacity to process 3,000,000 gallons of used water daily. The park was carefully planned and developed to meet the high technological demands of all types of industries.

The park implements a management system that ensures uninterrupted operations in a clean, safe and well-secured area. GBP is complete with power and telecommunications, fully-equipped fire trucks, ambulances, well-trained emergency response personnel, security contingent, a small hospital, and a museum that exhibits exceptional and rare antiquarian 19th and 20th century Philippine photographs. The 23 companies in the Park employ about 13,000 workers, earning a combined income of P4.3 billion in salaries and wages per annum.

The rest of the park’s infrastructure such as the concrete wide road and underground drainage facilities follow the highest standards of regular maintenance in the economic zone.

PEZA data shows that as of October 2009, the 13 export-oriented GBP locators contributed a combined US$3 billion worth of export in 10 months.

The Pacific Plaza

The Pacific Plaza Building along the bustling and busy Ayala Avenue in the Makati Central Business District was built by Gateway Property Holdings Inc.(the company behind Gateway Business Park). Standing 43 storeys tall, the Pacific Plaza is considered to be one of the pioneers of luxury urban living and is one of the first high-end condominiums in the country.

Strategically located near many of Makati’s feature establishments such as the Ayala’s Glorietta Malls, the Pacific Plaza has been the epitome of what it means to be at the height of city living.
